    It was going to be a normal dog walk for a Washington man, a retired Marine, when his night suddenly took a turn for the worst. As he went outside to walk his dog, he encountered a man, Blake Moore, trying to steal his truck in his driveway.     An armed man entered a jewelry store in Kent, Washington and attempted to rob it. At some point during a confrontation with the store owner, gunfire erupted. Once the would be robber was met with armed resistance, he fled the store. It is not believed the suspect was hit and police continue to search for him. The incident happened in broad daylight, around 10:45am. The store owner was not hurt.
