Two suspected armed robbers in Seattle found themselves outgunned when they tried to carry out an armed robbery.
Robert Moore was ringing up another customer in the Morning Stat Mini Mart when two masked suspects burst into the store.
One of the suspects pointed a gun at Moore and stated this was a robbery.
Moore looked at the suspects gun and told him, “I have a bigger one than you do.”
At that point Moore went to reach for a revolver which was stored behind the counter.
The suspects immediately fled before Moore could even draw the weapon.
The suspects escaped in a white SUV and are being sought by police.
This is another example of a defensive gun use in which no shots were fired and no one was hurt. Based on our experience documenting these stories, instances in which no shots are fired are one of the most common types of defensive gun use.
