An armed Texas homeowner faced a scary situation last week.

A man who was acting irrationally, who the homeowner actually tried to help get out of the middle of the street earlier in the day, stripped down to his birthday suit and tried to force his way into the Houston area home.

The homeowner issued multiple verbal commands for the suspect to leave, however the suspect did not comply.

The homeowner armed himself and when the suspect broke through a window and tried to unlock it, that’s when the homeowner opened fire.

The suspect was shot once in the arm and was treated for non life threatening injuries at an area hospital.

Police say the homeowner will not face any charges as the incident was clearly self defense.

This is the 128th defensive gun use we’ve documented in the state of Texas.

The Lone Star state continues to lead the country in the number of documented defensive gun uses.
