An employee of Wings on the Run in Greenville, SC said he was just protecting himself and his co-worker when he opened fire on an armed robber.

According to Fox Carolina,

“Just looked up and there’s this masked person with a gun in my face,” Stephanie Evans said.

She’s the co-owner of the restaurant located on East North Street in Greenville County.

“He just simply said ‘give me what you, give me all of it,'” Evans said.

Fortunately, employee Antwain Motin saw an opening when the suspect took his eyes off of him for just a moment. Motin was able to secure a firearm and open fire on the suspect. Motin believes he fired 3 or 4 shots.

The suspect, who was hit by the gunfire, was able to flee the store and was captured by police sometime later when he showed up in Spartanburg, SC seeking medical help for multiple gunshot wounds. The suspect was released from the hospital following treatment and is being held on a $25,000 bail.

Authorities do not expect any charges against the employee, who was clearly acting in self defense.
