According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, a homeowner awoke to a man forcing his way into the Vancouver, WA man’s bedroom early on Saturday morning.

Fortunately, the homeowner was armed and fired at the intruder, hitting and killing him.

The intruder is described as a 42 year old male, and police have not yet released his identity.

According to police alcohol may have played a role in the intruder’s behavior.
