In two separate instances, only miles apart, homeowners fired on intruders in their home.

A man used a rifle to fire at a man who tried to break into his home.

In a separate, unrelated incident two teenage intruders tried to enter a home through a doggie door. The resident, a soldier’s wife, grabbed a gun and fired at the teens.

It is not believed the intruders in either case were hit.

This makes 4 incidents in which WA homeowners have successfully used firearms to defend themselves in the last couple of weeks.
