Texas: Shotgun Wielding Street Robber Shot by Concealed Carrying Victim

A shtogun may not be the normal weapon of choice for a street robber, but that’s exactly what was used by a would be robber outside of a Walgreen’s in Texas. According to accounts, the suspect put a shotgun to the victims head in the parking lot and demanded money. The would be victim happened to be a concealed carry permit holder and drew his own weapon, immediately fired one shot at the suspect, hitting him. The suspect then dropped his shotgun and fled. Police were able to track the man down a short distance away. He was identified by a gunshot wound and then positively identified by the would be victim. The robbery victim was not injured and did not lose any property during the incident.
