Stock Gun Photo - Revolver and BulletsOne suspect is being treated for injuries described as life threatening at a Jacksonville area hospital after he committed an attempted armed robbery on Friday night.

According to reports, two armed men entered a Hungry Howie’s pizza parlor brandishing guns.

At some point during the robbery attempt, one of the employees of the store drew his own gun and opened fire.

One of the suspects was hit, but the other managed to get away.

Police have not yet been able to release a description of the second suspect, but he is still on the loose and likely still armed.

It is unknown if there were any other employees or customers in the restaurant during the incident.

This is the 95th defensive gun use we’ve documented in the state of Florida.
