iStock_000017129805XSmallA man armed with a handgun entered a jewelry store in New Jersey. The man was carrying a backpack, which he handed to the store owner and told him to fill it with jewelry and money.

The armed suspect told the shop owner if he did not comply he would start shooting people, including the owner’s family.

The shop owner didn’t like these threats too much. He drew his own weapon and fired at the suspect, striking him and killing him.

According to nbcnewyork.com, the shop owner hasn’t been charged with any crimes, but as this did happen in NJ, we’ll keep an eye on any possible future charges.
