Nebraska Resident Opens Fire on 4 Home Invaders – 1 Killed, 2 Captured

An apartment resident of Bellevue, Nebraska had to use deadly for the defend himself from a group of four armed home invaders last week.

Adam Walker, the resident, awoke to a man armed with a handgun crawling into his bedroom window.

Fortunately, Walker was able to quickly arm himself and open fire on the suspects. One of the suspects was hit by the gunfire and died of his injuries.

The other suspects managed to escape, but two were later captured. According to Nebraska Radio Network:

Detectives say 19 year old Jordan Thompson and Kendrick Dalia, both of Bellevue, were two of the four involved in the break-in. Both face charges of robbery, conspiracy and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.

The fourth individual has not yet been identified and the investigation continues.

Walker shouldn’t face any charges in the shooting. The other suspects may end up facing a murder charge for the death of their accomplice.
