Rick Rogers did not hesitate to defend himself, his family and his home when multiple armed men broke into his home over the weekend.
Rogers was able to grab his gun and confront four armed home invaders before they could harm anyone inside the home. One of the home invaders, 40 year old Kenneth Fry, was killed by Rogers’ gun fire.
Rogers, speaking with KY3.com, said he had no regrets about his actions,
“I was able to get my gun first and shoot one of them. The other 3 heard my shot and left out the back door. ”
“No regrets.” That’s how Rick Rogers says he felt after he shot and killed 40 year old Kenneth Fry. Police say Fry and several others broke into Rogers’ home early Saturday morning.
“I would do it again,” says Rogers. ” If they do it again, I would do it again. You got to protect your family.”
In addition to the deceased Fry, police believe they have caught one of the other suspects and are still searching for others.
The family remains shaken up and fearful.
