The woman walked out of a store in Detroit, in broad daylight, when she was confronted by two armed men who started shooting at her in an attempt to steal her vehicle.

Fortunately, the woman has a permit to carry a concealed weapon and returned fire. This scared the would be robbers off, and possibly saved her life.

The woman was struck in the right hand, which she may never regain full use of. The woman’s car is also riddled with bullet holes and cannot be driven.

“They shot me, they shot me with an AK, they shot me. I’m a CPL license holder and I shot back and I don’t know if I hit the guys or not,” she said.
