Two men are in the hospital following an attack in Chino Hills, CA.

According to the LA Times, Raiveon Wooden broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend, where she lived with her parents around 2:25am on June 25th.

He hid in the garage, and when the girl’s father went to investigate noises in the garage, Wooden attacked him and stabbed him multiple times.

Fortunately, the father had armed himself prior to venturing into the garage and was able to shoot Wooden, ending the attack.

Both individuals are being treated for non life threatening injuries at an area hospital.

Wooden faces charges of burglary as well as attempted murder.

The motive for the attack is not currently known. It’s also not known if Wooden’s ex-girlfriend was home at the time or if he intended to harm her as well.
