iStock_000017129805XSmallIt’s funny how a legally armed citizen can quickly turn the tables on a bad guy. In this case, things turned so quickly that it was actually the would be home invader who called 911 after being shot by a homeowner.

According to Fox44,

[Charles] Prince woke the victim, who grabbed a hand gun and fired 2 shots at Prince, hitting him once in the arm.

The victim called the Sheriff’s Office around 8:39 p.m. and explained that he had shot at an intruder.

Shortly afterward, the Sheriff received a 911 call from Prince who said he had been shot near the victim’s home.

The suspect is being charged upon being released from the hospital.

The incident occurred in Iberia Parish, LA.

This is the 22nd defensive gun use we’ve documented in the state of LA and the 1092nd defensive gun use we’ve documented overall.
