According to KBTX, a Texas man has been arrested for disorderly conduct after making gestures and sounds like he was shooting a gun during a crowded showing of the zombie movie World War Z.

Police say Darrell Reynolds, 54, walked into the crowded theater and began making “gun gestures” with his hand.

Panic quickly swept the theater and Reynolds left the theater after about 1 minute.

According to KBTX,

“It was an extremely packed theatre. There were people on all sides and it was already uncomfortable,” said Caroline Morales who went to the movies with her husband, Robert, Friday night. “It was dark and nobody could really tell especially if you were in the back and you just see a guy going ‘choo choo choo,’” said Caroline. “The rumor quickly spread that it was a gun and everyone is rushing to the exit quickly. We couldn’t have got out if we wanted to.”

Reynold was arrested for disorderly conduct in the lobby of theater building.

According to Chron.com,

According to McKethan, Reynolds had just exited a showing of the Sandra Bullock film The Heat when he entered the theater where World War Z was showing.

Bryan police records show Reynolds has been arrested for public intoxication twice since April in Bryan, including one arrest as recent as June 29.
