[Video] NRA’s New “Trigger the Vote” Campaign Video Has Surprise Twist Ending
A father takes out a small, thin safe and addresses his son, “Remember, this isn’t a toy. This is serious business.”
When the son asks the dad why he has it the dad answers, “To protect our family, and our rights.”
Since this is an NRA commercial we can surely guess what’s about to happen right? Father is about to show son his gun and talk about rights, etc, etc.
Not so fast. Boom – voter ID card.
We won’t ask why this guy keeps his voter ID card in a quick access safe, but cool video nonetheless. The NRA has stepped it up with their new media production over the last two years.
This video is part of the NRA’a Trigger the Vote Campaign which launched in 2009. Superstar Chuck Norris has appeared in past ads (and is slated to appear in new ads this year), including the one below.
This isn’t your dad’s NRA (and that’s a good thing).
