A new bill being proposed in CA would only allow gun owners to sell five guns per year. This means if you find yourself in a bind financially and need to sell a firearms collection in CA you would not be able to do so.

Currently in CA you can legally sell guns six times per year and buy/sell an unlimited number of firearms during those six transactions.

All private sales in CA already require a background check and waiting period, which is also a dumb law not found in most other states.

This bill will do absolutely nothing to stop violent crime in CA and will only be a burden to law abiding private citizens.

Residents who sold more than 5 guns per year would be required to get a license to sell guns in CA as well as federal firearms license.

Gun Owners of CA describes their feelings on the bill below.
