POLITICO is reporting that a Republican introduced gun control bill in the House will be coming soon.

According to POLITICO, moderate Republican Peter King said, “I will be introducing, along with Mike Thompson [D-Calif.], basically the House version of the Manchin-Toomey bill on Monday or Tuesday at the latest,” referencing the bipartisan agreement on background checks reached this week between Sens. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and Pat Toomey (R-Pa.).

This is going to open up the fight for our rights in both the House and Senate simultaneously.

Keep the pressure on your representatives and contact Speaker John Boehner to urge him to not allow a vote on any new gun control bills in the House, regardless of where in Congress they originated.
