The NRA-ILA is reporting that a proposed lead ammunition ban in Colorado has been defeated.

Today, during the scheduled Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission meeting, the Commission members voted against a proposal that would have banned the use of lead ammunition for your sporting purposes.

This misguided proposal was offered due to an emotional reaction, not one based on sound science and biological data.

We thank all NRA members across Colorado who respectfully contacted Commission members and expressed their opposition to such an unfounded and unnecessary action.

Please stay tuned to your email inbox and for further updates.

Good news for Colorado residents who have found themselves on the wrong side of their legislature in recent months.

Currently only the state of California has a lead ammunition ban on ammo used for hunting.
