Staying true to their word, Magpul Industries has moved their magazine and rifle sight manufacturing out of the state of Colorado following the passage of several anti gun laws there, including a law that would ban Magpul’s extremely popular PMag AR-15 magazine.

Magpul has not yet announced where their new operation is and they are still in the process of completely leaving Colorado. They had an announcement planned, but they pushed it back in the wake of the Boston Bombings.

Magpul lobbied hard in Colorado to prevent new anti gun laws from passing, but the anti gun politicians won out and most of the measures were passed and signed into law by the governor.

Magpul is also preparing to launch a host of new products including a polymer AK-47 magazine, steel backup sights for the AR-15, and they just recently launched several shotgun accessories.

Magpul has been praised for their innovative use of high quality, high strength, and lightweight gun accessories using polymer over traditionally used metal.

Magpul’s decision to pull their operations out of Colorado and also to suspend sales of their products to law enforcement in anti gun states has been praised by the pro gun community.
