What is this Bizarro World?

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, but anti gun, Democratic Congressman Jose E Serrano tweeted the following after finding out about Venezuelan dictator, Hugo Chavez’s, death.

“Hugo Chavez was a leader that understood the needs of the poor. He was committed to empowering the powerless. R.I.P. Mr. President.”

Chavez was a dictator frequently thought to fix democratic elections, limit free speech, and socialize his nation’s industry and resources.

How anyone in the free world could praise him is beyond me. You might wonder we’re posting this on a gun website. According to all sources Serrano is extremely anti gun, earning an “F” rating from the NRA and repeatedly voting to limit Second Amendment rights. This goes to show what these anti gun politicians want our country to turn into, and disarming the populace is the first step.

Here is a screenshot of the Tweet in case it is removed at some point (like before elections).
