Stock Gun Photo - 1911 handgun

A hotel clerk in Casper, WY pulled a gun she kept in her lunchbox (which is probably not the best place to keep your concealed handgun) on two men who entered the hotel with their faces covered and demanding money.

The men fled the hotel after the clerk pulled the gun.

No shots were fired and no one was hurt. This is another example of a story that won’t be included in many self defense studies/statistics because there were no shots fired and no one was killed.

The pair of robbers may be connected to several other hotel robberies in the area over the last couple of months.

Those guys must be from somewhere else… somewhere the women don’t carry guns. I live in Wyoming, and you’d be surprised at how many ladies here carry. I’m sure they were!

I own my life, and I’m the only one who is responsible for that life and my safety. That’s why this 66 year old lady carries a gun… every day, everywhere.

And no, a lunch box isn’t the best place, but better there than nowhere.

Glad to see I am not the only one, I am also responsible for my safety same as you. Hope I never need it but, I would rather have it and not need it than to need it and be at someones mercy.

Hmm those criminals should be glad I wasn’t there. They would be winning swiss cheese lookalike contests right about now.
