An Evansville, IN man was in his bedroom when he heard someone kick in his front door.

Two men in their early 20’s had just broken into the home.

“I raced for the gun vault and had my gun in my hand in 5-seconds and then answered the door,” says the homeowner.

The homeowner held the men at gunpoint for two minutes until police could arrive.

At least one of the suspects had a firearm.

Both are charged with armed burglary and robbery with a firearm.

This is a great example of a defensive gun use in which no shots were fired, no one was harmed and the bad guys end up behind bars.
