Police in TN believe a 72 year old great-grandmother probably foiled an attempted robbery attempt at a Dollar General store.
The woman became suspicious when a strange car with two young men inside parked behind her business, adjacent to the Dollar General.
When the woman confronted the men they tried to approach her and get something out of the car. Following her instincts that something was up, the woman drew her .22 caliber handgun and pointed it at the men, ordering them to put their hands on the car.
One of the men tried to retrieve something from the car, but the woman fired a warning shot to stop them. When police arrived they found drugs, guns, and clothes meant to conceal the wearer’s identity in the car.
The men were arrested for several charges each.
Sadly, the brave woman says she doesn’t support owning semi-automatic rifles or magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.

Had these two chosen to attack the woman instead of complying she might rethink her position. Ten rounds of 22 probably would not have been enough to prevent them from injuring or killing her.
I tell you what, meet me at the range and stand close to the business end of my wife’s .22mag pocket pistol. between the sound of the canon going off and the 2 foot fireball from the Gold Dot ammo, you won’t be so judgemental.
Plus, a .22 in your pocket is much much better than that .45 that you leave at home because its to big to carry all the time.
Your going to need alot more then 10 rounds of .22lrs to stop 2 attackers.

That is not true…….many many many people are killed with 22′s. . Granted it is not the best self defense weapon but
LOL, ever been shot, lets just put it bluntly, it hurts like a MoFo and it doesnt matter if it a .22 or a .45 the only difference is if you are standing or laying on the ground when you bleed out and die!
It only takes one bullet to kill a person retards. aparently yall dont know your guns to well. 22 might not do alot of damage but it can still kill. she needed that gun. dont kick bad and she could eat them up. protection
a .22 will kill you in 1 shot if hit in the head or heart.. if hit in center mass with one shot you can still disable and kill some one. people who knock the .22 are not wrong i would rather have a larger caliber for self defense but to say the 22 wont kill ur ass real quick is just naive.
