Wow, what an amazing story. Police and News9.com are reporting that a twelve year old girl in Oklahoma refused to be a victim yesterday.

When she heard someone kick in her door, she called her mother. The mother instructed her to get the family gun and hide.

As the girl hid in a closet, cluthcing the handgun, the intruder tried to open the door to the closet. That’s when the girl fired through the closet door, hitting the intruder.

The intruder fled the scene, but was quickly caught by police.

According to KXII.com, the suspect was arrested for kidnapping a girl last September. Also according to KXII.com, the gun used by the girl was a .40 caliber Glock.
