A Marine veteran, who has not been identified, took action when he saw two men attempt to rob a Gamestop store in Houston, TX.

The veteran saw two suspicious men outside of a Gamestop store in the Houston area. When he saw them put bandanas over their faces and enter the store, the veteran told a bystander to call 911 and retrieved his gun from his truck.

The Marine took cover behind his truck and when one of the suspects exited the store, he raised his gun and fired at the Marine.

The Marine returned fire and struck the armed robber, who managed to get inside of his car. The second suspect ran out of the store, but was captured by police nearby at a fast food restaurant.

No one else was injured in the incident.

While the Marine’s name hasn’t been released he is described as a 28 year old with combat experience.

This is the 154th defensive gun use we’ve documented in the state of Texas and the 1,148 defensive gun use we’ve documented overall.
