Two shots always two shot. If more is needed that’s ok too.
If one shot stops the attack then two isn’t needed. Remember, as a concealed carrier your goal isn’t to “shoot to kill.” You shoot to stop the threat.
But why not get rid of the POS, who will prob ( if he survives) do this again in a few years when he gets released ?
Well think about is this way, now the would be robber knows what it feel’s like to be shot. That tends to make people think twice.
Shooting until they are dead is shooting to stop the threat. Just because you wound them and they can not continue robbing or killing you right there, that does mean they are no longer a threat. The moment animals like this are back out on the street with another stolen gun, they are going to kill someone else.
The concealed weapons class I took taught everyone to “shoot to kill.” Since when were we supposed to “shoot to maim” or “shoot to scare”? Any law enforcement or military individual would agree, if you are serious enough to pull your gun on someone at all, you’re serious enough to stop their heart-beat.
