TX Woman Shoots and Kills Violent Ex-Boyfriend Who Broke Into Her Home & Assaulted Her

Just after 2am, a TX woman awoke to the sounds of someone breaking into her home which was also occupied by her two children.
The man breaking in was the homeowner’s ex-boyfriend.
The intruder began assaulting the homeowner who grabbed her legally owned gun and opened fire on the intruder.
He was struck once in his side and upon being shot, fled the house.
Police found him collapsed a short distance from the home and he was transported to an area hospital where he died of his injuries.
Police do not expect any charges against the homeowner.
