A burglar broke into an occupied home around 11:30pm in Pharr County, TX. When the homeowner’s wife entered a room, she was confronted by the intruder. The wife called out for help and her husband entered the room armed with a handgun.

The would be intruder then thought it would be a good time to run away, but was shot twice by the homeowner in the process.

Police are still investigating, but Texas law does allow homeowners to use lethal force to defend their property.
