A TX homeowner found 2 men trying to steal his welding equipment. The homeowner, who was armed, confronted the men and at some point opened fire on them. The men fled in an SUV. A man with a gunshot wound was found by concerned motorists in an SUV on the side of the highway some time later. The man was transported to the hospital and is believed to be one of the burglars. The homeowner is not expected to face any charges.
