Frankly, shooting someone in defense of your property should be legal EVERYWHERE! Thugs would maybe think about stealing things if they knew they could be shot for theft.

Did you know that a person driving a motor vehicle can carry as a ‘traveler’ without a need for a CHL, but not a person on a bicycle (legally defined as a ‘vehicle’ in TX and supposedly endowed with all rights and responsibilities of a vehicle as far as they can be applied to a bicycle– some things cannot be applied to a bike in the same way as a motor vehicle)? This is just ridiculous. Which one would you consider to be more vulnerable to an attack?
