A homeowner in Portland, OR wanted to avoid a confrontation with someone who broke into his home at all costs. When someone broke into his home late Tuesday night he had to act quickly.
The homeowner says he couldn’t call police because all of the phones were left downstairs. So, the homeowner fired a shotgun blast through the floor of the upper floor.
The homeowner, Read Williamson, said, “I wasn’t going down there… So I just shot a hole right in my floor. I don’t know how smart that was, but in retrospect, they left real quick,” Williamson said. “I’d do it again, I mean it was the loudest thing we had. It did work, he was gone, just like that.”
