Off Duty Reserve Police Officer in TX Shoots Intruder in the Head, Killing Him

An off duty, reserve police officer in Poteet, TX heard someone breaking into his apartment around 3:30am. The resident identified himself as an officer and told the suspect to stop.

When the suspect did not stop, the officer fired one shot through the blinds of the window. The suspect was struck in the head and was killed.

Police say the suspect had black socks on his hands and tools in his pockets.
