NM 62 Year Old Homeowner Shoots Intruder Twice With .45ACP Pistol

A 62 year old NM homeowner suspected that thieves had stacked several belongings of his together on his property for later retrieval. After alerting the police the homeowner made sure he was armed and prepared. Later in the evening an intruder returned, charged at the homeowner and was shot twice by the homeowner, who was carrying his .45 caliber pistol. The suspect was caught when he called 911 requesting medical assistance for this wounds. The suspect does have a prior criminal history.
