Gun Carrier Kills 1 of 4 Robbery Suspects After Woman Lured Him into Ambush

A Florida woman has been charged with second degree murder after a robbery plan she was part of went wrong.
The woman set up a date with a man she had known for about a month, but romance wasn’t on her mind this evening.
Three suspected robbers waited on the man, Travis Weller, at the address the woman, identified as Erika Sanez, gave him.
However, the would victim was armed and began firing when the suspects attempted to rob him.
One of the suspects was hit in the chest. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound. He died of his injuries at the hospital.
The victim called 911 following the shooting and waited on police. He ID’d Sanez as the person who lured him to the address according to The Tampa Tribune.
Police arrested Sanez and charged her with second degree murder. Under Florida law, a suspect in a crime can be charged with murder if their actions result in the death of their accomplices, regardless of whether someone else actually killed them.
The other two suspects have yet to be identified by police.
