We normally report on private citizens using firearms to save lives, defend themselves, their families, and homes. However, law enforcement officers also use guns for good in their professional careers and we thought this was an incident worthy of a mention.

A sheriff’s deputy in Greenville, SC shot a suspect, through a convenience store window, who was holding a knife to a store clerk’s throat.

The suspect and the clerk were taken to an area hospital and are both being treated for non life threatening injuries.

We will update this article as more details emerge.
