Stock Gun Photo - ravenA homeowner in Warner Robins, GA had to use lethal force to defend himself and his home from a home invader on Monday night.

The suspect in the home invasion was found by police unconscious and suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest outside of a home in Warner Robins, GA.

The suspect was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the suspect tried to break into the residence of the homeowner when the homeowner responded with lethal force.

According to 13WMAZ, neighbors say they heard at least 6 shots.

It is unclear if all of the shots were fired by the homeowner or if there was a gunfight between the homeowner and the suspect.
