According to a press released put out by the Gwinnett County Police Department, a homeowner in unincorporated Norcross, outsie of Atlanta, shot 1 of 2 would be home invaders this week.

(Lawrenceville, Georgia, September 26, 2013) Gwinnett County Police Department officers responded to a report of a home invasion at 4797 Greenway Road, unincorporated Norcross, at 11:00 AM today (September 26, 2013). The homeowner called 911 and advised that two young black male suspects were attempting to break into his home.
A few minutes later, while the homeowner was still on the phone with 911, one of the suspects gained entry into the home by forcing a window open.
The homeowner retrieved a handgun and fired at the suspect, striking him. Both suspects retreated to a black passenger car and fled the scene. They were gone by the time officers arrived. The homeowner was not injured and is not facing charges at this time.
At 11:30 AM, Gwinnett Medical Center (Duluth campus) notified police that a male matching the description of injured suspect had entered the hospital with a gunshot wound. Duluth Police and GCPD officers responded to the hospital. The suspect was taken to surgery in serious condition and will remain under guard. His condition is not known at this time. The injured suspect has been identified as Tajh Guillont (B/M, 22 years old). Charges against Guillont have not yet been filed.
The second suspect, a black male with dreadlocks, was seen entering the hospital with the injured suspect.
He fled the hospital in a black passenger car before officers arrived. … Duluth Police located the suspect vehicle in an apartment complex a short distance from the hospital. The second suspect has not been located or identified. Detectives do not know if this suspect is armed.
