Female Homeowner in Columbia, TN Shoots Career Criminal Who Was Attacking House Guest

According to police 1 man is dead in Columbia, TN after he kicked in a door of a residence and began assaulting one of the men inside the home after 4:00am.
The owner of the home, Prudence Spencer, then retrieved a gun, described as a “long gun”, and shot the assailant, Thomas Darnell Moore. Moore was killed by the gunshot.
Police say the three appeared to have known each other, and police are trying to establish what their relationship was. As of right now the case is being treated as a self defense shooting.
Moore has a long criminal history and was recently arrested for burglary, among other charges.

Hey Michael, you need to keep you idiotic comments to yourself. You are heartless and maybe you won’t ever have to endure such an act and have some idiot make a heartless comment about your loved one. He was a friend of mine as well as a family member. He did not break in the house. He and the girl were dating. He went over there and another guy was in the house. A fight ensued between he an the guy and she shot him with a shotgun. She forgot to tell them the entire story. Also, don’t you think that it’s strange that a little white girl who has never shot a gun before can shoot a shotgun without having some type of injury from the butt of the gun herself. There is also evidence that he was talking with someone on the phone while he was inside of the house stating that something is going on and that some people were out trying to get him. Word says that there were other people in the home at the time.

this guy was a trouble maker im not saying he deserved to die but i knew him he was a loud mouth and im surprised he lived as long as he did u cant force your way into someones home i feel sorry for the one that comes in mine to his family i wish them the best im sure his mom and dad were devistated from this the last time i was in jail was 18 yrs ago i made something of myself since then this guy was always in jail as fare back as i can remember i guess he liked it in there
