An elderly couple in Battle Creek, MI came home to find two men in their living room. That’s when the homeowner grabbed his .410 shotgun. When the men refused to listen to the homeowner, he fired at them, hitting one of the men. The homeowner then began beating the intruders with the shotgun.

The uninjured intruder knocked the homeowner and his wife to the ground and fled the scene, but was caught in the woods nearby by police.

Both of the would be robbers have been arrested and charged.
