stock_berettaIt’s a story that can’t happen in many parts of the world where freedoms are limited. A concealed carrier with a legally carried firearm was able to defend himself from an armed aggressor.

According to Philly.com, a currently unidentified suspect with an arrest record tried to rob a law abiding citizen on the street.

Unfortunately for the suspect, this citizen was a licensed concealed carrier who was armed with a handgun.

The armed citizen drew his firearm and the two men exchanged gunfire.

Both men were hit during the exchange. The suspect died from his injuries. The suspect’s identity has not currently been released.

The victim is described as being in serious condition at an area hospital.

We wish the victim a speedy recovery and we were glad he was able to defend himself from further harm.

This is the 39th defensive gun use we’ve documented in the state of Pennsylvania and the 1050th defensive gun use we’ve documented overall.
