A CA man with a concealed weapons permit stopped an armed robbery at a Subway Sandwich shop. The would be robber ordered a sandwich and after the clerk was done making it the suspect drew a knife and demanded money. The permit holder drew his concealed handgun and pointed it at the suspect, who then fled. Carry permits are more common in some CA counties than others, with some rural counties actually issuing a fairly high number of permits.
