A 72 year old homeowner in Tuscaloosa, AL was awoke by a man banging on his back door around 2am. When the homeowner tried to open the door to see who was there a 27 year old man pushed through the door, pushing the elderly man to the ground in the process. The homeowner retrieved a gun and shot the would be home invader. Police arrested the intruder who underwent surgery for his wounds at a nearby hospital.
