62 Year Old FL Man Opens Fire With .22 Rifle On Two Shed Thieves

A 62 year old man in Deland, FL saw two men breaking into his shed around 2:30am. The homeowner opened fire on the pair with a .22 rifle. One of the men was struck and injured. The injured intruder was caught be police and is being treated for his injuries. Police say they believe they know the identity of the second intruder based on conversations with the man who was caught.

Damn Dad: When you Shoot..Shoot to Kill..
With a 22LR, really! Not going to kill much with a 22LR, unless you are much closer or one hell of an aim to getem between the eyes. I would have pulled out the 12 gauge pump and blasted away, or maybe the S&W 626 .357 unloaded and then dropped in another speed load and went another round. Better chances to dropping one of the thugs, over a 22LR.
