According WOKV.com and police, A 57 year old grandfather was doing some late night shopping at a Jacksonville, FL Dollar General when 2 men burst through the doors with plans to rob the store.

Unfortunately for the would be robbers, the grandfather has a concealed weapons permit and was carrying a gun. The grandfather drew his weapon and fired at the suspects. He hit and killed one of the men, while the other got away in a small SUV. The other suspect is described by police as a black male about 6 feet tall and wearing a blue bandanna.

Police say the actions of the customer were justified under FL’s self defense laws and no charges are expected against him.
