You’ve probably heard about Kel Tec’s upcoming CMR-30 (formerly called the RMR-30) rifle which is a continuation of the company’s popular PMR-30 pistol.

The rifle has been talked about for a couple of years now and has been one of the most anticipated firearms coming out of Kel Tec’s factory.

There has been speculation that the gun would never reach production, but here we see it, in the flesh, in this video.

Our buddy Hank Stange puts the rifle through its paces at the IraqVeteran8888 range in Georgia.

The MSRP is going to be around $575 and it’s due out in the third quarter of 2014.

The rifle is chambered in .22 WMR, giving it a bit more power than your typical rimfire semi-auto rifle.

The rifle features a non-reciprocating charging handle, integrated collapsible stock, full length top rail, bottom rail, and it uses the same magazines used by the PMR pistol.

There did some to be some feed problems with the PMR pistol featured in the video, but the CMR seemed to run like a champ.

Another great video Hank Strange!
