Since the middle of December the citizens of the United States have been buying up standard capacity magazines at an unprecedented rate fearing that upcoming legislation could stop the future manufacturing of said magazines.

Brownell’s, one of the largest firearms and magazine suppliers in the US, reportedly sold 3 years worth of magazines in a matter of days.

Now we are getting reports that Magpul, the company that makes one of the most popular AR-15 magazines, the PMag, has backorders for over 1,000,000 of their popular magazines.

The report comes from an editor of Haus of Guns via their Facebook page.

PMags are popular due to their high reliability, durability, and light weight due to being made of polymer rather than metal.
