Hello from Austin, TX

    Hi all, been reading the site here for some time and decided to join and introduce myself. My name is Cory and I live in the Austin, TX area. I am a 41 yr. old male, been married to my lucky bride(haha) for 18 years and have 2 boys, 14 & 17.

    I grew up around firearms and received my first at 8 or so when my Dad bought me a .22LR and after that first day of shooting on our land got me hooked. I have managed quite a collection over the years and can never bare to let any go, I simply acquire more. :)

    Even though I have been shooting all of my life and have always utilized my 2nd Amendment rights, I recently decided to make it legal and get my CHL. I am taking a couple sessions with a local guy that offers the class before actually taking the class. Even though I felt like I knew how to shoot, getting a few lessons from an ex-swat officer doesn't hurt.

    Anyway, I look forward to visiting this site often and will one day add my story to the forums that happened to me a number of years ago, but thought it best to get acquainted first. :)
