Face eating zombie changed your ideal EDC?

A naked man was on top of another nude man along a busy highway, biting into the man's face, tearing it to pieces. A police officer arrived to help, but the mauler growled at him and continued to chew away, stopping only when he was shot to death

The victim, identified as 65-year-old Ronald Poppo, was in critical condition, with only his goatee intact on his face, the newspaper reported.
Sgt. Javier Ortiz, vice president of the Miami Fraternal Order of Police, said it was one of the bloodiest "and goriest scenes I've ever been to."
"It was not only grotesque, it was just very sad, the amount of blood. It was very sad to see what happened to this gentleman that had his face eaten," Ortiz said.



So for the past several years my EDC has been my little LCP. To me the 380 beats nothing and I thought/think it'd beat most zombies. Maybe I'm wrong...I think I'll be checking into a 45 or 40 single stack. I would like to avoid getting my face eaten by some drugged up 99%er if at all possible.

If 14 rounds of 9mm Hi-Shok can't stop a zombie... I'm in trouble.

I'll keep carrying my .40... Of course, I'm never far from a 12ga or a rifle.. On a serious note, these bath salts are some evil, rough drugs. There is another recent case where a guy injured himself then protest officers with pieces of his own intestines, and yet another who killed someone and ate part of their heart and liver.

I have numerous firearms, but I also have a secret weapon in the event of a real zombie attack - a hammer-forged, folded steel sword - save the bullets - ill just lop off heads And as a backup, ill bring along some necrophiliacs ;-)

I just started weapons training in Aikido a few months ago. We don't hit on it ever week and instead concentrate on the jo Tur nights. Being near a person that knows the art of the sword is impressive.
