Anyone out there (hello hello is this place on?) have a dedicated 22 upper?

I've maybe kinda sorta decided I'd rather have a 22 upper for my new lower instead of a center fire (300/6.8/6.5/500) for now just because I don't have enough 22 rifles.

I've been reading about the CMMG uppers.

I've heard good things about the CMMG uppers, but have no experience myself. I have owned a SW-MP22 that was really nice. Not sure if SW sells just the upper or not.

Well I decided I wanted my next upper to be a hunting caliber of some sort. (Still haven't decided)

So I went with a CMMG Bravo conversion kit to shoot in my stag upper. I took it out back this evening and run 40 rounds without a hitch. Let me tell you....I don't know if it's the kit or what but it shoots dirty....and I mean dirty.

This is a plinking kit for the whole family so accuracy isn't really job one, but feeding is. Time will tell how this thing holds up, it seems made pretty well but somewhat primitive. I find it funny that the first thing you have to do is file on the magazine to get a custom fit. It took about 5 minutes and sure doesn't drop free at this time. I'm thinking I'll invest in a bolt catch and dedicated charging handle. I'll have to get back to ya on the accuracy in another post.
